Do I have to belong to a particular church or denomination?
No, we gladly welcome all students into our program.

Is your program accredited?
Our program curriculum provided by Apex Learning, has been accredited as a Distance Education School by the Commission on Schools of the Northwest Accreditation Commission (NWAC). Our courses have been approved by the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) as meeting the requirements for establishing the initial-eligibility certification status for high school student-athletes wishing to compete in college. 

Are there any additional costs not included in the tuition?
The only additional costs are the price of course materials which will vary depending on which course you are enrolled in during the semester. Further, if a student wishes additonal E-tutoring hours {each student receives 30 hours per academic year} the cost is $35 per hour, minimum three hour purchase.

If I have been expelled, may I enroll in The Oaks Virtual Academy?
Acceptance into The Oaks Virtual Academy is reviewed
on a case by case basis.

May I participate in sports or other extracurricular activities with local schools in my area?
It depends on the laws in your state or local jurisdiction. Many schools both public and private allow students that attend schools online or that are homeschooled to participate in extracurricular activities.
